Lazy Day and Running

Today I woke up feeling energized and alive. I woke up feeling good and ready to own the world. I started my day off by eating a small breakfast consisting of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal and my lactose milk. I went on about my day getting ready to go to my Tuesday class at SJSU and then finishing my day early from work at 3:00 pm.  I had a lazy and easy day for the first time in a while. I was able to watch TV, cook for dinner, and even catch up on some of my lecture notes for my Chemistry class.

My boyfriend and I decided to make dinner together at my house since he lives in a Fraternity and their kitchen is actually disgusting. In a rush to eat food since we were both starving, we decided to make pasta. We used the bow tie noodles that you can find for free at the food selves around campus and a meat pasta sauce from Trader Joes. Then we decided to add some ground beef to the pasta and mushrooms. It turned out great and we both devoured our plates and there were even some leftovers for tomorrow.

To finish off our night after digesting the food, we watched some TV, took a nap, and caught up on our homework. Then finally before we went to sleep we went on a short run to just get back into the grove of getting in shape. We went on a short run of about 2 miles around Downtown San Jose, California. It was hard but it was amazing to get back into running. Then finally I got back home and went to sleep getting ready for another day out of the week.
