Fitness On The Daily

Sometimes it can be very difficult especially in college to live a healthy life and remain fit. It’s hard to find time to go to the gym or do any physical activity because of homework, social activities, or even being too lazy. Finding time in a busy schedule is essential to be able to be fit. Today I made the effort to go on a late night workout because I was feeling like my body needed the extra workout. Typically my body feels heavy so I know its time to go on a quick workout.

For my workout, I decided to do some squats and focus on my core. I first went on a 2-mile run which took me about 25 minutes because I haven’t run since the end of summer. It took me a while to complete this run because my body was not prepared for the strenuous run I went on. After I finished my run  I decided it was time to start doing squats, since my body was all warmed up. I did around 150 squats and my legs felt like jelly. I finished off my quick workout by completing some crunches and leg raises to make sure my core stays tight and I don’t have a jiggly belly. I did around three sets of each exercise and I couldn’t feel my abdominal anymore. I knew I completed a good workout because I couldn’t feel my body anymore and I was feeling a bit sore already. I went home finally, and showered and then rested my body for the rest of the night.
