Trying To Be More Social

Having a boyfriend it can be difficult at times to have a healthy social life. It can negatively impact your social life as you can start to only hangout with your boyfriend rather than friends. Even though we all love our significant others, it is always healthy to have space apart and to make friendships. It can be hard though because you get so use to hanging out with your boo rather than you friends. Try joining a new organization or group that interests you. 

Being connected with your friends can create a positive space to hangout with others as well as vent and hangout with your best friends. Having this support system can encourage you to do better in all aspects. If you have ever suffered through any depression or sadness from being anti-social with others. You may want to consider going to CAPS in the Student Wellness Center – for San Jose State University, to vent, gain different perspectives, and to learn more about yourself. If your academics are negatively impacted, the Student Wellness Center also provides educational counselors who may help with your educational performance, time management skills, and more. With all these different resources  please take advantage and make a change in your life.
