In San Jose, California the temperature has been dropping into a colder setting as we go into the winter time. The winter time in San Jose is very cold. My favorite location to work out and go on a run is outside rather than a treadmill because I always feel like I am going to fall on a treadmill. But since it has gotten colder in the Bay Area it is very difficult to go outside and go for a quick run.
Even though it is still very cold outside that is no excuse to not to be an active member in society. Going outside even for a short work out can be very beneficial to your body. I for example even though was very cold. I still went out to go do a run. I went to do a 2-mile run because I felt like my body needed to have a pick me up. Prior to going outside, I made sure to wear a jacket, some warm leggings, and some nice socks for my run outside. By doing this I was able to go on my run and feel 10000000000 times better about my fitness.
