Hello everyone! I hope y’all have had an amazing holiday season this year as 2018 comes to an end.  I know I have been eating my heart out with all my family dinners as well as all my eating out I have been able to do thanks to my pay raise! However, that is no excuse to spend money on eating out rather than making healthier and affordable home cooked meals. Eating healthy is a priority that many of us need to consider for our own health issues or to strive to achieve a better and healthier life starting with our decision on what to eat on the daily. Due to all the holidays, I find it more and more difficult to maintain a healthy diet, especially during the holiday season. Thanksgiving Healthy Food

Thanksgiving is a time to stuff our bellies and give thanks to our families, friends, and more. It’s a time to eat until at the end of the night its time to go shopping. Thanksgiving is many of our favorite holidays as its a great time eating our homemade and traditional food items on the holiday. Jamba Juice is a food place that provides a variety of different assortments like oatmeal, energy bowls, and of course their signature fruit smoothies. This on the go healthy food place is the perfect place to stop by and get a healthy nutritious delicious meal at a very affordable price! To all my San Jose State fellow readers there are multiple locations on campus to fill your daily needs. I would recommend if you are watching what you eat to stop by this amazing store and trying anything on their menu.

Healthy Smoothie

During the day my schedule consists of constantly going to either work or school from 8:00 am until about 5:30 pm when my day is finally over. Today in the morning as I was running late to work and trying to get all my belongings together. I was in a hurry to find what clothes to wear and gather all my school supplies for the rest of the day. Before I left I knew I needed something to eat to get me through the day. I decided to make a quick smoothie using various fruits for my breakfast at the beginning of my day.
