Finals Week

The semester has finally come to an ending! Thank goodness, I have been so busy and stressed with all the materials and things I need to finish by the end of this week. School is very accomplishing but that does not mean it does not come with a toll on your health or mental well being. School can be very stressful and filled with trials, especially during finals week.

As a head into finals week, am I prepared? Nope. I have so much to do and finish by this week. All I can hope is to continue to feel motivated and encouraged to stay up and continue to keep moving.  Continue reading

Eating Right During Finals Week

Finals week is coming upon us. This is a hard time for college students to eat right or even getting enough sleep because of all the hard hours students put into studying for there finals. This hard work can destroy students sleeping schedule to even eating the right things for there bodies. Being a full-time student can be very difficult at times to manage everything all at once. Not only am I a full-time college student at San Jose State University, but I am also a part-time worker, I am apart of many organizations on-campus, as well as I have a social life apart from all these activities. Sorority Formal

Being in a sorority can be very fun as every semester we always have a formal to celebrate the new members of that year. Being that I recently joined Kappa Delta Sorority at San Jose State University Gamma Iota chapter. It has brought me very exciting new friendships and being more active on a campus organization. Thanks to my sorority I was able to find some friendships to go workout with on our campus gym. Joining this organization has brought me already so many great memories.  Continue reading

Hello everyone! Today I will be talking about food and college. As a college student it is so hard to eat healthy and also watch what I consume. At times I feel like I will eat anything just because I’m starving in class or at work. However I am trying to eat healthy now, I am only eating the food I buy from Costco and Trader Joe’s. Buying actual groceries saves you so much money and is a way healthier option. Saving your coin in college is important in order to go to fun events with your friends.
